My name is Dick Frost.  I am a songwriter, singer, and guitar player. The place of my birth is Hammond Indiana. At age 9, I received my first guitar, a Harmony acoustic, which still hangs on the wall of my studio! I knew then that my life dream was to stand on stage and play music!

In 1969, my family relocated to Colorado Springs, Colorado. Being a stranger in a strange land, I soon found out the importance of having my music. It was my companion, my friend maker, and everything I needed to survive!  Shortly after graduating high school, I took to the honky-tonks to learn a craft that has stuck with me throughout my life.
I have been fortunate since 1974 to make my living doing what I love to do, making music!! All kinds of music!! whether it be, country, rock and roll, blues, acoustic, or as the kids call it now, “Americana”  My music has taken me from Colorado to Kansas, Texas, New Mexico, Wyoming, Nebraska, California, and even Hawaii!

I have shared stages with some of the greats in music over the years, including Willie Nelson, Ernest Tubb, Faron Young, Charlie McCoy, Billy Joe Spears, Tony Booth, Buddy Alan,  Delbert McClinton, Firefall, The Ozark Mountain Daredevils, The Ventures, and a lot of names I can’t remember!! If I have learned anything from these great artists, it’s respect for the music!  Treat it right, and it will take care of you! In 2013, I was voted “Entertainer of the Year” by the Colorado Country Music Foundation!! In 2014, I was inducted into the Colorado Country Music Hall of Fame!!! Now, it’s time to rock!! Things are always changing here, so, keep an eye on the “news” page for announcements!!
